Hybrid
March 12th

Location: Mary and Leigh Block Museum of Art

A 90-minute experimental documentary by Montieth McCollum. Dancing ears of corn, snippets of old commercials, and visual meditations on the rich farmland that nurtured archetypical Midwesterner Milford Beeghly's discovery of the miracles of corn hybridization are featured in this quirky, poetic opus about the American hinterland.

Chris Sullivan, professor of Filmmaking at the School of the Art Institute, will be present for discussion.
