BROTHERS AND OTHERS (Nicholas Rossier, 2002, 60min.)
This documentary follows several Arab-Americans in the aftermath of Sept. 11. We see the impact of the discrimination many faced from governmental agencies and fellow Americans. Several families have been torn apart and in a perverse twist of fate many were forced to leave this land that had promised a better opportunity. Also included are interviews with experts on both sides of the issue such as Noam Chomsky and representatives of the INS among others.

“It reminds us of the need to balance our desire for security with an equal concern for the rule of the law and civil liberties which make America the great nation that it is.” John Esposito, Author of Islamic Threat: Myth or Reality
